We are The Utility IT based out of San Clemente, California. Throughout the years we have worked on developing a cohesive fusion between our unique Help Desk and our versatile team of onsite technicians which focus our service efforts throughout the Orange County area, ranging from as north as Anaheim or Irvine all the down south to Oceanside..
We have been providing IT support for local companies and developing various business technologies since the late 1990′s. Our initial efforts were in the southern Orange County region and throughout the years we have been expanding our reach to the broader Orange County area which includes places like Irvine, Costa Mesa, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest and, of course, San Clemente.
Our approach to servicing, developing and advocating for technology involves a highly collaborative effort amongst our owners, our technicians, our Help Desk, the applications we utilize and you – our client. Our team of awesomely trained technicians all believe in a collaborative environment for ultimately bringing a higher level of service to our clients. Our team mentality has proven effective and consistent in our ability to provide reliable IT support for local small and medium sized businesses in the Orange County Area.
The Guys Behind It All
Sean Crowley and Matt Riggio are the two visionaries/nerds who tirelessly work to innovate and maintain a smart system for creating, supporting and optimizing the technology of our clients.
Sean Crowley
Sean Crowley has been working in the technology industry since early 1998. Having been trained by companies with over 350+ employees, Sean was able to learn firsthand how large companies do technology properly. He was able to take that knowledge and began creating affordable services that smaller companies could benefit from. At the time, small businesses didn’t have access to the level of technology that bigger companies had, so Sean was very successful in helping small and medium businesses in new and innovative ways.
Sean has grown up in San Clemente and has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Azusa Pacific University.
Matt Riggio
Matt started his obsession with the technical wonders of techie geekdom years ago designing his band’s website and dabbling in graphic design for promotional materials. Later, while working in the energy engineering industry he quickly became frustrated with the discombobulated mess of poorly maintained spreadsheets for handling data (budgets specifically) so he began building custom Microsoft Access solutions. After moving into the real estate industry he quickly moved from Access systems to online solutions where he programmed pipeline managers, lead gathering systems and automated review systems for the, at the time, extremely fast paced real industry. After a couple years as operation manager for a local California mortgage broker, Matt chose to leave the flailing industry and begin his own web development company and focus on web services that utilize the power of client and server side technologies. Here he went on to create many robust solutions for clients ranging from sales pipeline managers, lead gathering systems, ERP’s (Enterprise Resource Programs), CRM’s (Customer Relationship Managers), CMS (Content Management System) based websites, and many other applications that have helps clients improve their businesses.
Matt graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Arts degree
